I’m Not Crazy, I’m Sick (2023)

I’m Not Crazy, I’m Sick is a powerful documentary that chronicles three families who are fighting for survival against Lyme disease. The film highlights the physical, emotional, and financial toll the disease takes on their lives, as well as the urgent need for greater awareness, testing, and treatment options.

I’m Not Crazy, I’m Sick is a passion project and labor of love executive produced by Kimberly Atwood and Atty Cleworth with Sypher Studios. Kim's daughter Atty was diagnosed with chronic Lyme disease in 2019 after years of suffering mysterious but debilitating symptoms with no answers. Through research and due diligence Kim discovered that her daughter is amongst hundreds of thousands of people here in the United States who are diagnosed each year. The disease is extremely difficult to diagnose and the treatments are expensive and mostly out of pocket. There are many complications to the disease that can wreak havoc on one's body and mind. The film was created in partnership with the Global Lyme Alliance and their hope is to raise awareness and ultimately help find a cure for this insidious, underrepresented, misunderstood disease.

I’m Not Crazy, I’m Sick premiered at the Directors Guild Theater in NYC on May 18, 2023. It is now available for streaming through Apple TV, Prime Video, Google Play, and On Demand and Arclight Films has recently bought the distribution rights.
